Therapy Assistants

Therapy Assistants (TA) work in a supporting capacity and are directly supervised by registered clinicians including, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists. The role of a Therapy Assistant at KidsInclusive may include assisting in carrying out treatment plans, providing support and training to families and community providers, developing and creating therapy materials, and organizing and participating in group intervention.

Therapy Assistants at KidsInclusive may have a variety of educational backgrounds such as a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA), Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA), Speech-Language Assistant (SLA), Resource Consultant, etc.
