iCan Bike Program
Our iCan Bike Program is currently paused due to COVID. We will work to bring it back once we are able.
KidsInclusive, Kingston Military Family Resource Centre and Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville, are pleased to offer the iCan Bike program in Kingston and Brockville! This unique program helps children and youth with special needs to achieve an important life milestone of learning to ride a two-wheeled bicycle independently. Using special adapted bicycles, participants gain the skills and confidence they need to gradually transition to a regular two-wheeled bicycle.
Ages: 8 – 18 years
Cost: $50 – Payment can be made out to KidsInclusive – Kingston Health Sciences Centre
Eligibility: This program is suitable for children and youth with a diagnosed disability, who are able to side step and walk without an assistive device. It may also be suitable for children who have been unable to lean to ride a bicycle due to anxiety issues. Participants do not need to be current or past clients of KidsInclusive. Families from Kingston or Brockville and surrounding regions are welcome to register their children. If space permits, we will accept registrations from areas outside of these regions.

Groups

Group-based therapy is a model of treatment frequently used at KidsInclusive. Therapists, along with therapy assistants have developed a number of groups here at KidsInclusive. Please talk to your therapist about our current group programs. There are specific eligibility criteria for each group, your child’s therapist can help you determine if any of the groups are appropriate for your child.
