Infant and Child Development Program

The Infant and Child Development Program is a home based program that provides services to children from birth to school entry who have an established developmental delay or are identified as at risk for delay. Families are provided a variety of services based on the individual child and family’s needs.

These include:

  • Regular home visits by an Infant and Child Development Consultant
  • Monitoring of the child’s development through developmental screening and assessment
  • Play-based developmental programming and activities to meet the child’s needs
  • Information and support to families about their child’s development or diagnosis
  • Assistance to families in accessing appropriate community resources

Referrals to the Infant and Child Development Program are accepted directly from parents, or from a physician, therapist or community service provider on their behalf. Please see our online referral form on our How to Refer page.
