Enhanced Caregiver Supports & Behavioural Skill Building

This session is designed for parents/caregivers who are hoping to expand their knowledge about the services available within their community, enhance advocacy, and build upon behavioural strategies to assist their child through day to day activities. This session is facilitated by a Social Worker (SW) & a Family Resource Counsellor (FRC).

As a result of precipitating in this session, parents/caregivers will be able to:

  1. Organize their child’s information
  2. Gain effective advocacy skills and goal setting
  3. Become aware of funding and community supports
  4. Build upon behavioural and visual strategies
