25 children attended Friendship Camp over 3 weeks this July!

Friendship camp is a small group program offered by KidsInclusive in the summer.  It is designed to provide children with the opportunity to practice social interaction skills while participating in therapeutic games and activities in a supportive environment.

Some examples include:

  • team building games
  • partner activities
  • art
  • cooperative games and drama

The group are highly structured and make use of visual and sensory strategies, repetition, and reinforcement.  Role-play is used to learn and practice common social scenarios.  This year’s themes were ‘Canadian Adventure’ and ‘Pirates’.
